I was looking for a tripod that comes with microphone and light so that I don't have to match different brands and make sure that they fit the mounting pieces, or that they are compatible with my 11-inch iPad Pro. I need this for my husband's birthday party as I want guests to leave video messages (using Guestbook Go app).I just tested the whole set focusing on lighting and audio.As far as tripod goes, it's perfect. Lightweight but sturdy. I can extend the legs while holding it up with one hand. It was easy to put pieces together, and it has all usual tilts.The microphone definitely filters out the surrounding noise. I cracked up the music to make sure that my voice will still be clear, and it was perfect. You can feel the vibe in the background, but the person in front of camera is in focus and clear. Only note, if you are using this with your iPad (like me), the actual microphone on my device, while it doesn't filter the background noise, records much higher volume. So I might be looking for another boom mic that has higher potency. Also note, the tripod and the light are MOVO brand, but the microphone that I got is SEVENOAK brand. I don't know if that's intentional or I just got the bad apple.The little light that comes in this trio is also a great feature. Without the light my face had too many shadows and didn't look very even. With the lowest light setting it was much better, still leaving some shadows but acceptable. Middle setting was perfect, making my face even in tone, removing all undesired shadows. The highest setting I found to be too light, blinding me while I was standing in front of it, and giving my face unnecessary highlights, almost overexposing some facial features. I suppose the highest setting would work in darker rooms, or some other situations, maybe if I was standing further away. I tested this during the day in a low-light room, about 3-4 feet away from camera and light, and my face was turned against the window, so no outside light was directly at my face.The only thing that I wish was better is how long the light lasts with one full charge. I tested it on medium setting, and it lasted only a little over 2 hours, so it won't make it through my 4 hour event. I will likely be getting another external light to swap with this half way through the event.
